The University of Uyo in conjunction with School of Continuing Education has released its Part-time admission form for the 2016/2017 academic session. Interested candidates should apply for admission. Candidates are expected to score a minimum of 180 and above in the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Entry Requirements For UNIUYO Part-Time Admission 2016/2017
Here are the entry requirements for UNIUYO part-time admission for the 2016/2017 academic session;
1. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 O’Level results including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings in SSCE/WAEC/NABTEB. Candidates with result before 2010 must present their Certificates. Statement of results for earlier years will not be accepted.
2. Candidates should know that the Undergraduate programmes run for five (5) years for UTME candidates and four (4) years for Direct Entry candidates, except programmes in the Faculty of Agriculture which runs for six (6) years for UTME and five (5) years for Direct Entry candidates, respectively.
3. Candidates for Direct Entry admission are expected to possess at least two (2) A/Level papers, NCE, Ordinary National Diploma or equivalent University Diploma (at acceptable levels).
4. Candidates are to attach the photocopies of their UTME Direct Entry SLIPS for 2016/2017.
How To Apply For UNIUYO Part-Time Admission 2016/2017
To apply for UNIUYO part-time admission for the 2016/2017 academic session;
1. Candidates are to visit the school website at eportals.uniuyo.edu.ng or
www.uniuyo.edu.ng (click on e-portals link).
2. Candidates should select the programme of choice either Post UTME (part-time) or Direct Entry (Part-time) for Direct Entry candidates. Create a new account.
3. To make Payment , candidates should click on Make Payment, Select Bank Option or Card Option. Candidates are to pay a sum of N8, 000.00 (Eight thousand naira) only.
Application Closing Date 2016/2017
The Application Closing date for UNIUYO part-time admission for the 2016/2017 academic session is September 31st, 2016.
Supporting Documents 2016/2017
These are the documents to be brought along for UNIUYO part-time admission screening exercise for the 2016/2017 academic session;
1. One colour printout of the University of Uyo 2016 ONLINE registration form dully completed with the passport-size photograph printed in colour.
2. Two (2) recent passport-size photographs on red background (same photograph as the one used for the online registration) with the name and signature of the candidates on the reverse side of the photographs. These should be packaged in a quarto-size envelope and labeled with the candidate’s name and department.
