There Rare Two ways of installing recovery on mtk phone which am going to explain in this tutorial am about to give now
Method 1
This method Does not required Rooting Your device, It only require two items
1. Sp Flashtool
2. Recovery image (The device recovery image )
3. PC System
Launch your sp Flashtool and select scatter Loading, and choose any empty Mtk scatter loader txt file , or choose the stock ROM scatter loader and untick all the Names column except recovery .
Then click the location area and choose your recovery from your system of your device and click download, That all
Method 2
1. Download Recovery tools - flasher
2. Download the ClockworkMod recovery image for your Tecno phone by Hovatek from the links at the bottom of this post and save it directly to your SD card (not inside any folder)
3. Ensure your phone is rooted and you have backed it up using MTK Droid Tools
4. Install and Launch Recovery tools - flasher and grant it super user privilege when prompted.
5. Select I know the risk then select Flash Other Recovery
6. Navigate to and select the ClockworkMod recovery image you copied to your SD card then tap Yes, please.
7. When completed, You'' see Recovery Flashed, reboot into recovery? select Yes please. You should now see Clockworkmod recovery instead of the stock recovery
8. Go to Backup and restore then backup your current ROM
