[Tutorial] How to boot into recovery mode on an Itel phone

Booting into recovery mode on an Itel (Spreadtrum Android) phone is different from the technique used on MTK phones like Tecno, Gionee, Innjoo, Infinix etc. To Boot into recovery mode on an Itel phone:

1. Switch off the phone
2. Press and hold the Power button
3. Press and hold the Volume decrease (Volume -) button
4. Immediately you see the Itel boot animation, release both buttons (Power & Volume decrease )
5. You should see a green Android lying on its back.
6. Press the Volume increase button to proceed to recovery mode
7. You should now be in recovery mode
8. Use volume buttons to navigate and power button to select

* Note: If you're stuck at No Command with an Android on its back, Press Power button + Volume up (increase) button then release both. That should get you into recovery mode

Below is a red-scaled snapshot of an Itel 1452 in recovery mode (Note that this isn't the original color)

Tecno Plans to Open a Manufacturing Plant in Nigeria

In the words of John F Kennedy, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. After 10years of operation in the Middle East and African Market, Tecno Mobile plans to set up a Manufacturing plant in Nigeria.

The firm said it has secured a large expanse of land in one of the choicest areas of Lagos.
According to Attai Oguche Tecno Deputy Manager, said the firm is committed to the Nigerian market, hence the need to site a manufacturing plant in the country.

"Tecno has its first African manufacturing plant in Ethiopia, the firm has established presence in 48 territories, “Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania respectively remain the biggest market on the continent for the phone company.”

This is a good move Tecno, produce it here and we’ll buy it here. At least this will help move the economy forward.
