[Tutorial] How to boot into recovery mode on an Itel phone

Booting into recovery mode on an Itel (Spreadtrum Android) phone is different from the technique used on MTK phones like Tecno, Gionee, Innjoo, Infinix etc. To Boot into recovery mode on an Itel phone:



1. Switch off the phone
2. Press and hold the Power button
3. Press and hold the Volume decrease (Volume -) button
4. Immediately you see the Itel boot animation, release both buttons (Power & Volume decrease )
5. You should see a green Android lying on its back.
6. Press the Volume increase button to proceed to recovery mode
7. You should now be in recovery mode
8. Use volume buttons to navigate and power button to select

* Note: If you're stuck at No Command with an Android on its back, Press Power button + Volume up (increase) button then release both. That should get you into recovery mode

How To Unlock OnePlus 3T Bootloader Easily

suretieslus 3T is going to be a developer-friendly device. To install/flash TWRP Recovery on your OnePlus 3T, you need to unlock the bootloader first on the device. Thankfully, OnePlus device is as friendly as Nexuses.

How To Easily Unlock OnePlus 3T Bootloader

1- Setup ADB and Fastboot on your PC. For help, use this .

2- Enable OEM unlock and USB debugging:

Go to your phone’s Settings » About phone » and tap “Build number” Seven/Ten times. This will enable Developer options on your OnePlus 3T.

3-Now go to Settings » Developer options » and look for “Enable OEM unlock” option, tick the checkbox next to it.

4- On the same page, also tick the USB debugging checkbox.

5- Connect your phone to PC and open a command window on the PC.

6- Reboot your OnePlus 3T into Bootloader/

Fastboot mode by issuing the following command:

ADB reboot bootloader

└ Check your phone’s screen, if it asks for “Allow USB debugging”, accept it by selecting OK/Yes.

7- Once it is booted into Bootloader mode, issue the following command to finally unlock the bootloader on your OnePlus 3T:

fast boot oem unlock

└ This will unlock the bootloader on your OnePlus 3T and also completely wipe your phone while doing that. So make sure you backup everything important on your device before unlocking the bootloader.

8- Once the bootloader is unlocked, your OnePlus 3T will automatically reboot. In case it asks for bootloader unlock permission on the device, accept it.

That’s all. Your OnePlus 3T bootloader should be unlocked now and you can install/flash a custom recovery like TWRP on it.

How to fix null/invalid imei on mtk devices using Miracle Box

When the imei of your device is corrupted you can't make or receive calls with the device, if you dial *#06# it shows null/invalid.



I've done other tutorials on how to repair the imei of mtk devices using apps like mtk engineering, chamelephon and sn write tool. These apps are great apps but they do have their downside for example the mtk engineering app is very easy to use but will not work on some devices with android 6.0 this is frustrating.

Using chamelephon to repair imei is also easy but requires the device to be rooted.

Again SN Write Tool also have the tendency of show FAILED again and again. You might cry if you are not that strong.

Here is just another tutorial which shows how to fix null/invalid imei number on mtk devices using Miracle Box. This method is simple and does not require you to root the device.

Launch Miracle Box

Tick Readinfo

Now Press Ctrl + M on your keyboard

Two new options IMEI (switched off) and IMEI (switched on) will appear
Select IMEI (switched off)

Type in the IMEI numbers in the spaces shown (IMEI number of your device is on sticker under your phone)

Click Start Button

Turn off device and connect to PC with USB
Now wait for the process to complete

When you see W IMEI1 OK: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
That means the operation was successful
Disconnect and boot up device.
Do not get concerned if the progress bar is not upto 100% 😉

As earlier stated, the feature is currently on beta and currently only available to Android users.
Activating is pretty simple and straight forward. Simply download the beta version of WhatsApp Here. And thereafter, you should be able to see the video icon.

Just as seen when WhatsApp Voice calls was newly introduced, both users would need to be running the app version supporting video calls before being able to initiate a video call on WhatsApp.

If the recipient you are trying to call isn’t running the beta version that support video calls, you’d be faced with same error as seen in the image above. Additionally, there is an option to record and send a video message if the recipient isn’t available but running the latest beta version.
As earlier mentioned, this is still currently in beta. It should be available on play store in the coming weeks. And hopefully, iOS users should be able to get on the train by then.

The people that are currently having this problem are the ones using Glo 0.00 free browsing tweak cos they won't be needing any airtime or data to browse. That is the most reason Glo disconnected their lines from getting data network to browse.

I also had same problem and i will show you how i brought the data network back for me to browse and use Glo 0.00 free browsing tweak again.


HOW TO FIX DATA NETWORK NOT DISPLAYING ON GLO

It's very simple. Let me tell you, if you think recharging your Glo line will bring the data network back as you are on PAYU, it's a lie. It won't come even if you recharge 1million.

What i did to bring back my data network was to purchase a data bundle. I only subscribed for Glo 30MB for N50 which is valid for 1 day.

To subscribe for Glo 30MB for N50, make sure you have upto N50 on your Glo line. Then sms 14 to 127 to purchase the data plan. You will recieve a reply as seen below in my screenshot.


And boom, your dead 3G data network will resurrect and you should now start flexing either your 0.00 free browsing tweak or the data.

Don't forget to sms Cancel to 127 to stop auto renewal of the data.
